Exploring Watercolour for Beginners Nov 3rd 9:30am - 12pm

$97.00Price

Join us in a lovely beginners workshop with local mixed media artist Gerri Kafer.

In this beginner's workshop, you will be introduced to various techniques that are fun and easy to do.

For example:

Wet on dry, wet on wet, blending, adding rock salt to a painted area to see what happens, outlining either in watercolour or a waterproof pen.

In this class you will also have the opportunity to try some water intense pencils.

The image shown is an easy piece that can be made for a gift, framed piece, or a book mark.

Gerri says: "I look forward to seeing you all soon, remember this is fun, not hard work".

Tea/coffee station and some morning tea is provided!

Bring your own watercolour paints, brushes, and watercolour paper (can be purchased at art stores such as Levers or Kiama Collective, places like Spotlight and Officeworks, or online)

If you would like a pack with materials, please let me know and I can arrange a quote and order for you.
